Well I fucked that up

So this morning I began my eyeshadow canvas. To initial success, I was pleased. Then I made the STUPID mistake of touching the black. IT smudged and dominated ALL the other colours it pissed me off so much. I've almost lost enthusiasm to try again. Maybe I was too ambitious and should have done one with my Prismas, in fact i think i will, and just do it normal cartridge paper. I guess it wasn't THAT bad but I'm an extreme perfectionist when it comes to art which usually gets the better of me. Not doing a canvas with them would be a complete waste of about $40 so I WILL do one eventually. That's all for now. xox

So like, actual?

HEY. I shall start mt Tidus picture tomorrow. Today in the art world, I ordered my Primsa sharpener, bout an eraser pencil (like an eraser and pacer combined), bought an A4 canvas and mixed a skilly skin colour. I am excited to start it. INSTEAD of eyeliner I will use a photo liner which is like a better version of a felt tip pen. I hope this adds to the "anime" effect. I should channel Cheng because she is ACE at anime. If i had the link i would give her a plug so my beautiful readers could see it, but at the moment I am without! If anyone has any questions about how to draw anything in particular things just ask, I;ll do my best! That is all.

HEY ROCKSTARS

SO the eyeshadow is ridiculously hard. It will be a challenge, anyhow the picture i have decided to use is one I am not familiar with but its for a friend who thinks this guy is awesome. So I'm lacking in things to blog about at the current time. Well! I be going to the city tomorrow to get a finer brush as well as a magical sharpener that is SPECIFICALLY for Prisma Colours. Its about $14. Yeah i know, I'm an an idiot. But i do it for the fans! Peace out bitches.

OH! I wont be using eyeliner for the canvas, its so soft and way too much fallout!

Now I feel as though I can continue doing pieces because my order from Hong Kong is here, I just have to go to my friends house to get it! Makeup tutorials seem to be popular at the moment. I'm not one for wearing makeup :P but I thought maybe doing some tutorials of things like Zombies and party type things. I dunno. :)

Common Quarrels

Hello kids. So it’s been a while since I’ve properly blogged. I’m still waiting for my order from Hong Kong Hopefully it won’t be too much longer. I have my canvas and eyeliner and after some deliberation and helpful opinions have chosen to draw only Mario. There won’t be many different colours involved I suppose, but if it is successful I will do a larger piece.

Not everyone can draw; it’s a matter of how your brain works, if you use the left or right side of it. Many people have these ideas in their heads of images they want to project onto the paper in front of them, however no matter how many failed attempts they sit through their hands won’t produce what they want. Usually no amount of teaching can do much to make someone go from bland to brilliant; however there are some things that can help one improve. I would love to be an art teacher one day so I hope these tips can help someone one day.
First things first. Materials, Materials, Materials! An abundance of pencils can be very helpful in the initial parts of drawing. This blog is for those who aren’t very experienced by the way. So let’s assume we want to do a simple pencil drawing. More often than not you’ll be able to find a HB pencil around the house. When looking at the spectrum of pencils, HB is right in the middle. Not too hard and not too soft. B’s are softer and darker and H’s are lighter and harder. Any who, every time I do a pencil drawing, I start with an outline of the main features. Now if you want you can trace, it makes it much easier. I tend to use my 6H for this because it erases so easily. You can use a 2H or an H if you want but press lightly! The eyes are the most important part, because they are the centre of the face. Also, the lips, distance between the eyes and the distance between the lips and nose are also important. Nose isn’t extremely important because it can be fixed with shading usually. TIP: Brown eyes are easier to draw because you can go darker meaning mistakes are less visible.

When drawing brows, do them in small lines as though they are the individual hairs, press consistently and fill make sure that the edges aren’t defined. When you draw the lips, generally the line of the top lip isn’t very harsh, so save the emphasis for the middle of the lips.

I have decided I will draw picture to help explain what I’m saying. I will also show you how to draw teeth, because they are hard and so many people do it wrong.
